Inscription.

rooster vane located on the steeple of the Very Holy Sacrament church comes from the previous church that was victim of a fire. On the evening of October 10, 1944, the flames devoured Saint-Quentin's church and parish hall. By the time the fire alarm was given around 9:15 pm, it was already too late to save anything at all. The heroic salvaging efforts of numerous parishioners added to the rescue actions of Kedgwick CVC and the Saint-Léonard Fire Brigade to save the presbytery and prevent the fire from spreading to the neighbouring constructions. At the time, Eudore Martin was the priest and J.A. Plourde the vicar.

The rooster and the cross were repaired and placed at the top of the new church built in 1946-1947, which is entirely fireproof.
