Inscription. For service beyond the call of duty as a Boy Scout and soldier of his country. His Boy Scout good turn included five years daily service to a blind man,1946-1951. He served with the U.S. Army from 1951 until he gave his life for his country on a battlefield of Korea, July 18, 1952.
