Valorando la visita del señor presidente del Senegal, como un acontecimiento histórico, los habitantes de esta comunidad, hemos tomado el acuerdo de que este ejido, conocido como Palomas, a partir de este día con todo orgullo lleve el nombre de:
“Senegal de las Palomas”
este acto de especial trascendencia es presidido por el excelentisimo señor presidente de la Republica de Senegal.

In honor of the visit of the President of Senegal as a historical event, the inhabitants of this community have agreed that this ejido, known as Palomas, from this day forward with pride will bear the name of:
"Senegal de las Palomas."
