. To read up on this monument suggest reading the History of Jerome Township by W. L. Curry available at this link. Within the book is a complete history of the monument, the dedication service and main address by Colonel Curry given in 1913.

Your picture is very well done and very recent. I have been searching on the net for the original picture when the monument was dedicated May 30, 1913 and have not been able to locate one. I'm also looking for copy of story of the dedication posted in the Marysville Journal, but have not found it at this date.
