Inscription.  
In 1887, Charles V. Beebe received a patent for an easy riding, swing attachment for farm equipment seats. In 1891,he moved to Altamont and opened a harness shop in the Ostrander Building, in what is now 125 Maple Avenue. In 1895, Mr. Beebe purchased and moved his business to 119 Maple Avenue, where he continued to craft harnesses and related leather goods until shortly before his death in 1936. In 1926, the Altamont Free Library moved into the front portion of the building, and in 1949 Frederick Keenholts purchased the building, and moved his insurance business into the front rooms. The library was moved to the rear portion of the building. Keenholts Insurance occupied the building until Roger Keenholt''s death in 1992. In 1994, ReNue Spa opened for business

En 1887, Charles V. Beebe patentó un rotor para asientos de maquinaria agrícola para facilitar su montaje. En 1891 se mudó a Alta mont y abrió una tienda de arneses en el Edigicio Ostrander, actualmente Avenida Maple 125.
