1. Grant Street Bridge Marker
Inscription. Former location of a 200 foot, single-span Baltimore truss bridge constructed by the Youngstown Steel Company in 1896. This truss design was patented in the 19th century by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad and adapted for highway use for crossings that required longer spans. This bridge was constructed to connect Cambridge Springs with the mineral spas on the north side of French Creek. This structure was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
