1. Don Pedro Menendez De Aviles Marker
Inscription. Bronze statue of the illustrious son of Aviles, Spain, Governor, Captain General “Conquistador”, and Adelantado of Florida who founded St. Augustine on September 8, 1565. The Statue was a gift of the people of St. Augustine, dedicated September 8, 1972.
 
Erected 2014 by St. Augustine Art Association.
