Inscription.  Road from early glass works on the upper Sawkill, to shipping point on Hudson, above Rondout. Named for sign on company's warehouse.
Erected 1935 by State Education Department.
Location. 42° 2.595′ N, 73° 57.21′ W. Marker is near Saugerties, New York, in Ulster County.
