Regarding Birth Place of Jennie Jerome. According to The AIA (American Institute of Architecture) Guide To New York City, Fifth Edition "Winnie's Mom didn't live here: At 426 Henry Street, just south of Kane, a plaque claims that Winston Churchill's mother, Jennie Jerome, was born in that house in 1850. Actually, she was born in 1854 in a house on Amity Street near Court. The confusion results from the fact that Jennie's folks had lived with her uncle, Addison G. Jerome, at 292 (now renumbered 426) henry Street prior to her birth."
