En este lugar se edifico la primera iglesia año 1805 reedificada en 1882 y vuelta a edificar en el año 1952 a 1958 por el Sr. Cura Parroco Canonigo Ruben Baltodano y Alfaro.
Eterna gratitud a todos sus benefactores.
Recuerdo de la Santa Mision Pontificia en la Parroquia de Jinotega del 24 de febrero al 6 de marzo del año 1960. Oiras misa los domingos y fiestas de guardar.
