Regarding Manuel Gutiérrez Zamora. Manuel Gutiérrez Zamora (Veracruz, Veracruz, August 24, 1813 - March 21, 1861) was a Mexican Liberal politician and member of the military. He served as governor of the state of Veracruz, Mexico.

The marker was placed on the 20th anniversary of his death.
