in 1849. Built 1st church one block west in 1853
"St. Johannis Kirche." 1856 St. Paul's Lutheran
(MoSyd) built on this site. About 1862 they merged.
1888-9 this sanctuary was erected. To an unknown land
they came where GOD could be worshiped in freedom.
