Built circa 1868 this house is considered to be the best example of High Victorian architecture in Woodstock. The house was built on land that was originally part of the grounds of the Honourable Charles Connell House. It is possible that this house was a gift to his son, Dr. Charles Pitt Connell. A prominent businessman, he owned riverboats that once provided transportation and deliveries to Woodstock.,
