Es de anima rayada diseñada por el Capitán del Ejército Inglés Theophilus Alexander Blakely, quien fue el primero en fabricar cañónes con anillos de hierro forjado (zunchado), lo cual hoy en día es reconocido por su importancia en la evolución del cañón. Se caracterizó porque los zunchos proporcionaban elasticidad para soportar mayor resistencia, además sobresalía por su gran calibre y poco peso.

Description:
This banded cannon was designed by the English Army Captain Theophilus Alexander Blakely, who was the first to make cannon with wrought iron rings (“zunchado”), which today is recognized for its importance in the evolution of the cannon. It was characterized in that the additional bands provided elasticity and greater resistance. In addition, it stood out for its large calibre and low weight.
