The Market Fountain

1686: The town view by Andreas Kieser shows a representation of a timbered well on lower "Spring Lane".
1781: The "Flecked" Well. A new well of stone is constructed at the foot Spring Lane by the mason Johann Georg Jordan.
1863: Now called the Market Fountain, as the marketplace authorities now had responsibility

1975: Location of the market fountain on the market square in front of the town hall. The fountain column and well box are replicated. The fountain is considered one of the most beautiful village fountains in Baden-Württemberg.
2014: A replica of the damaged original Neptune is once again set upon the fountain column.
