Inscription. Kay dedicated her life working for the City of Florissant with a genuine affection for everyone she met. Kay played key roles in renovating many treasures including the John B. Meyers House/Barn, Archambault House, the Log Cabin & the Gittemeier House. She served on numerous committees & volunteered for Historic Florissant Inc., Florissant Valley Historical Society & Old St. Ferdinand Shrine. Kay loved all things Florissant & set a great example for our historic preservation.

More about this marker. Marker was dedicated on July 25, 2018, and was the 34th "Walk Through History" plaque on Rue Saint Francois. Then-Florissant Mayor Tim Schneider, as well as Spring's husband and her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were present at the ceremony.
