Dedicated to the memory of those unknown who were enslaved and buried in the Archdiocese of Washington

The souls of the just are in the hand of

Those plaques are in memory of all Holy Trinity parishioners entombed at Holy Rood Cemetery, where more than 7,000 remains were buried between 1832 and the mid-20th century.

We also remember those parishioners who since 2019 are now interred in the Holy Trinity Columbarium.
