1. HCA Healthcare Marker
Inscription. In 1968, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) was founded by Dr. Thomas Frist Sr., his son Dr. Thomas Frist Jr. and businessman Jack C. Massey. The original office was located here, in a small house near HCA's first hospital - Park View. At the time, it was one of the nation's first hospital companies. With a mission to care for and improve human life, the Nashville-based company, now called HCA Healthcare. has grown into one of the nation's largest healthcare services providers.
