1. Jenny Wallenda Marker
Inscription. She had a distinguished performing career aloft on the ground. Starred as the top mounter on both the Wallenda’s original seven-person pyramid on the highwire and on the Zoppe bareback riding act on which she appeared in the film, “The Greatest Show On Earth.” A constant advocate and tireless worker on behalf of causes and institutions that are important to the circus community. She organized Sarasota’s month-long Circus Centennial, helped launch the Circus Ring Of Fame and produced four editions of the Showfolks’ Circus.

of Fame” recognizes those persons who made a significant contribution to the art and culture of the circus. With dozens of inductees from around the world, the Ring of Fame began in 1986 as a way to honor world famous circus performers and the rich circus heritage of the Sarasota, Florida area.
