1. Madison College Marker
Inscription. Madison College was founded in 1904 as Nashville Agricultural Normal Institute by Seventh-day Adventists on a farm of 412 acres. A sanitarium and campus industries were integral to the plan of work and study for students training for careers in agriculture, teaching, religion, industrial arts, nursing and allied health courses, and other fields.
 
Erected 1970 by The Historical Commission of Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County. (Marker Number 29.)
