Location. 41° 42.252′ N, 121° 17.128′ W. Marker is near Perez, California, in Modoc County. Marker can be reached from Clear Lake Road, on the right when traveling west. This marker is about 1,500 feet northwest of the intersection of State Route 139 and Clear Lake Road. It is not visible from either road and can only be accessed on foot. Park on Clear Lake Road about a quarter of a mile west of State Route 139. Walk about 300 yards north parallel to a barbed wire fence. I did not see any No Trespassing signs and was on public property as far as I know. Touch for map. Marker is in this post office area: Tulelake CA 96134, United States of America.
