1. Garden Dedicated to Frances Pollard marker
Inscription. Frances was a member of Robbinsdale's first Library Board, April 6, 1904, and became a volunteer in the Library. In 1921 Miss Pollard became the first full-time Librarian. In 1926 the Historic Library Building in Robbinsdale was completed by the Robbinsdale Library Club. In 1955 Miss Pollard retired after serving the Library in one form or another for over Fifty years. We thank her for her service.
