Inscription. Built in 1914 by Budina Bros. for O'Fallon physician Herman T. Bechtold, this building housed various businesses over the years, including Dr. Bechtold's office. Its best known tenants, however, were the U.S. Post Office for which it was built, 1914 - 1938, and the O'Fallon Public Library, 1945 - 1962.

Erected 2006 by Main Street O'Fallon.
