1. Arthur Bangert Marker
Inscription. Called the Father of Modern Florissant. He gave the City piped water, a sewer system, the first City library and established the Planning and Zoning, Public Works and Police Departments. He brought financial stability and legally changed the name from St. Ferdinand to Florissant.
