1. Ogilvie Farm Marker
Inscription. This property was settled by William and Mary Harris Ogilvie, who came to this area via ox wagons from Granville County, N.C. during the late 1790s. Their nine children - Harris, Sarah, Smith, Kimbrough, John, William, Patty, Richard, and Nancy - also settled here and nearby. The family descends from the ancient Ogilvy Clan of Angus, Scotland, and had farmed American soil since early colonial days. The original 1800-era log house and the adjacent Ogilvie family cemetery, established by 1807, are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1998, Ogilvie place was one of the state's oldest farms remaining within the same family throughout its history.

Erected 1998 by Williamson County Historical Society in memory of Paul Ogilvie.
