Also see . . . National Register of Historic Places Nomination. The Brewer Scout Cabin was built utilizing many area men, thus restoring dignity of work and the ability to bring home a paycheck. The cabin was started in the winter of 1933 and completed in the spring of 1934, and dedicated to Solomon Boy and Girl Scouts in May 1934. The cabin has undergone few changes.
