Inscription. Norman Morgan was from a dairy family from Snohomish, Washington. He moved to California and settled in Southern California. He met his wife Leona at Chafee College. They opened Morgan’s Ice Cream plant in 1939 on Valley Boulevard in Rosemead. Their ice cream won many ribbons at the Los Angeles County Fair. They were very civic-minded and active in community activities. They sold the ice cream plant in 1981.
