— Miss America 1962 —
"As a child growing up singing and dancing in my parent' school… I have always felt loved. Even before I was a Rockette at Radio City Music Hall at age 18, or Miss America 1962 at age 19. After the birth of my two children, Robyn and Jim, I began to write music.... One day as I tried to imagine Mary admiring her new son, Jesus, I began to write 'Cradled In His Love.' When I finished the song, I realized that all who love God could identify with Mary's love."
