"I have been career-minded ever since I was a little girl....I was lucky to have a contract which ran two and a half years—even though I never got a picture that would show my ability. But if there was a call for publicity it was always, 'Get Rosemary—that Miss America title always helps....' My radio show… has brought new sources of interest—commenting on fashion shows, attending openings of new shops, premieres, and so on. My marriage is a good one. But if it wasn't for being Miss America, we probably wouldn't have met."
