"'My focus is on education and career....It's about being a woman of the '90s with beliefs and philosophies and ideas.... We all have to go through the process of finding out where we fit in today's society.... I think school-to-work is the answer....A school-to-work program teaches students skills in the classroom that they can apply and a chance to use them in the workplace,' Smith said." Smith, 24, is the US Department of Education and Labor's School-to-Work Ambassador to America's Youth.
