1. Lake Rogerene Marker
Inscription. A lake community since 1925. When the former mountain pond was renamed to honor Rogerene Baptists who came to Roxbury in 1734 from Connecticut, where they had been persecuted for following the teachings of their founder, John Rogers.
 
Erected by Morris County Heritage Commission.
