Fundacion de Tarimoro
El Virrey Luis de Velasco a petición de Lucas de San Juan el 5 de diciembre de 1563, otorgo la merced real mediante la cual en nombre de su Majestad El Rey de España: "Les hago merced a los naturales del pueblo de San Miguel Tarimoro de ocho caballerias de tierras y cuatro patrimoniales para su fundacion y congregación (...) y mando a la justicia de su majestad haga cumplir este mandamiento.

The Foundation of Tarimoro
The Viceroy Luis de Velasco, at the request of Lucas de San Juan, on December 5, 1563 granted royal permission for the foundation of the town on behalf of His Majesty The King of Spain as follows: "I grant permission to the naturals of the town of San Miguel Tarimoro eight caballerías of land and four as heritage lands for its foundation and congregation (...) and command his majesty's right to enforce this decree.
