1. 5th Maine Infantry Monument
At the top of the monument is the state seal. Greek crosses in the center are the symbol of the Sixth Corps. Below the crosses is a stack of muskets, a drum, and infantry accouterments.

4. Looking Down the Regiment's Line
Looking south from the right flank marker stone. The left flank marker stone stands along Wheatfield Road, which runs just in front of the tree line. The sides of the monument display the Greek Cross of the corps.

5. Left Flank of the 5th Maine
The left flank marker stone is partially buried beside the Wheatfield Road. Up the hill beyond the regiment's monument is that of Battery C, 1st New York Light Artillery.
