1. The Carriage House Marker

Inscription. Erected in 1870's on lot #10, Eads Plat in Brookville, Ind., this building housed horses, carriages and feed until the automobile, then used as a garage. In the spring of 1977 it was dismantled by removing handwhittled pins which held the frame together, transported and restored on this site (using 90% of the original lumber) by Sid and Annabel Ekdale.
