1. Bishop Francis Asbury Marker

Inscription. Marking the 200th anniversary of his arrival in the U.S. His first sermon in N.J. was preached near this site on Nov. 6, 1771. He was the pioneer leader of the Methodist Church in America for 45 years and was known as the "Prophet of the Long Road."

Erected 1971 by The Methodists of Burlington, New Jersey.
