Old Pasadena in Los Angeles County, California — The American West (Pacific Coastal)
Former Kendall Automotive Company Office
National Register of Historic Places
Inscription.
Constructed in 1923. This building is one of many in Pasadena
connected with prominent owner, B.O. Kendall, and served as
the office of Kendall Automotive Company. In 1980 Alyce A.
Doney acquired the property and built a successful women's
consignment shop, Silent Partners, over the next 24 years.
During this time, Mrs. Doney made significant improvements
to the site's infrastructure while continuing to preserve the
1920's aura of the building.
This plaque recognizes the efforts and foresight of Alyce
Doney to preserve this wonderful piece of Pasadena history.
