The Benjamin Head House
In 1812, Revolutionary war veteran Captain Benjamin Head built Head House, one of Kentucky's finest stone houses. Legend holds that the Head House once changed hands as the result of a poker game. Dr. Silas Witherbee practiced medicine and made his residence at Head House for a number of years.
