Inscription. This memorial park is dedicated to Billy Myers a Virginia Beach native and veteran of World War II and Korea. He was a founding member of the Tidewater Veterans Memorial Committee. He envisioned and worked tirelessly to bring this memorial park to fruition. His devotion to honor the memory of all veterans, together with his sense of civic duty, made this park his legacy.
 
Erected 2008 by City of Virginia Beach.
