1. Holy Cross Church Marker
La Capilla de la Veracruz, fue el segundo templo edificado por los padres Franciscanos de Pachuca, quienes la instituyeron en Tercera Orden de San Francisco en el año de 1648.
La construcción es de mampostería cubierta de bóveda de cañón con lunetos, con una cúpula con linternilla en el crucero y el piso de madera.
En su interior se encuentran dos retablos de madera dorada de estilo churrigueresco, en el altar mayor se encuentra la imagen de San Francisco de Asís.
Holy Cross Church
The Chapel of the Veracruz, (Holy Cross) was the second temple built by the Franciscan fathers who appointed it the Third Order of Saint Francis in the year 1648.
The construction is masonry covered with a barrel welsh vault. With a Lantern Dome on the crossing and wooden floor.
In its interior there are two altarpieces of golden wood, Churriguera style on the main altar is the image of Saint Francis of Assisi.
