Inscription. This memorial stone serves to honor the Indigenous tribes that lived on this land prior to Indiana becoming a state: Miami, Potawatomi, Wea, Shawnee, Kickapoo, Delaware, Chippewa, Ottawa, Wyandot, Seneca and Piankashaw.
 
Erected 2016 by Indiana Native American Indian Affairs Commission.
