This Cemetery was a gift to the Town of Astatula from Mary C. Hux and was deeded to the town on October 11th, 1895. The deed stipulates that the Cemetery property, which is roughly 10 acres in area, will only be a Cemetery and that it would always be used for the residents of the town. The Cemetery has been in the care of the Town of Astatula as trustees since then.
