1. Potawatomi Indians Marker
Inscription. In 1992, this 15 ton granite boulder was moved from a field north of Hammond Road near the Potawatomi Indian Village "of five lodges” to this location near the Potawatomi burial ground. An Indian profile was sandblasted into this rock in May 1993. With respect and reverence, the residents of Spring Arbor Township dedicate these sacred grounds to "Spring Arbor's earliest inhabitants"... the Potawatomi Indians.
