1. James Madison Marker
Inscription. The 4th U.S. President, Madison was the author of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, which earned him the reputation as "Father of the Constitution." Serving during the "Second Revolution," or the War of 1812, he empowered the Navy with three frigates: the "Constitution," the "United States" and the "President."
