1. Entrance Names Marker
Inscription. The four streets leading to the entrance ramps of the Lake Walk are named Bates, Hazzard, Gottsche, and Clifford. Charles H. Bates, Joseph De V. Hazzard, Augustus Gottsche, and Guilford D. Clifford were elected to the first Town Council after the Town of Eustis was incorporated in 1883.

Marker is mounted on the east-side railing along the Eustis Lake Walk, about 100 yards west of North Bay Street and just north of Hazzard Avenue. Touch for map.
