1. The Pavilion Marker
Inscription. By 1912 a building called The Pavilion had been constructed on pilings in Lake Eustis. A pier 250 feet long connected it to shore where Clifford/MacDonald Street ended. The Pavilion served as a community center where parties, dances, and band concerts were held, civic organizations met, and the Eustis Yacht Club headquartered.

Marker can be reached from the intersection of North Bay Street (Florida Route 19) and Hazzard Avenue, on the right when traveling south. Marker is mounted on the west-side railing along the Eustis Lake Walk, overlooking Lake Eustis, about 100 yards west of North Bay Street and just north of Hazzard Avenue. Touch for map.
