1. The Pavilion Marker

Inscription. By 1912 a building called The Pavilion had been constructed on pilings in Lake Eustis. A pier 250 feet long connected it to shore where Clifford/MacDonald Street ended. The Pavilion served as a community center where parties, dances, and band concerts were held, civic organizations met, and the Eustis Yacht Club headquartered.

Marker is mounted on the west-side railing along the Eustis Lake Walk, overlooking Lake Eustis, about 100 yards west of North Bay Street and just north of Hazzard Avenue. Touch for map.
