Never Again - Never Forget On September 11, 2001 the United States of America was attacked by the forces of terrorism the deadliest attack that day occurred at the World Trade Center in New York City and took the lives of thousands of innocent people. The three New York City Police Department (NYPD) Marines honored here, all first responders selflessly gave their lives conducting rescue operations inside the Twin Towers immediately following the attack. Their memory will live on in perpetuity.
