Inscription. Served during the War of 1812 as captain with company of Missouri Rangers, in 1820 as delegate to the Missouri Constitutional Convention, and from 1833 to 1853 in the U.S. Army rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
 
Erected 2017 by The Society of the War of 1812 in the State of Missouri, placed in honor of Patriot Nathan Boone.
