Inscription.
• Log Cabin is the only War of 1812 site that is located in a public park.

• Jacob Zumwalt lived here for nineteen years and raised ten children from two wives. He moved to Pike County Mo, with one of his sons in 1817 and passed away in 1820.

• Darius Heald built Stony Point, a two-story brick farmhouse, here in the park in the early 1880's. Now known as the Heald Home.
