1. Masterson's Station Marker
Inscription. Near here stood two-story log house built by Richard Masterson. This station was site of first Methodist church in Kentucky. In Masterson home, May 1790, Bishop Francis Asbury held the first Methodist Conference west of the Alleghenies. When Richard and Sarah Masterson moved to Port William (present-day Carrollton), they continued to lead Methodist activities.
 
Erected 1983 by Kentucky Historical Society and Kentucky Department of Transportation. (Marker Number 10.)
