1. The Haycraft Inn Marker

Inscription. Oldest portion of inn constructed ca. 1814. Building enlarged to its present size when purchased by Daniel Haycraft, ca. 1820. On the Louisville - Nashville Turnpike, the inn was popular stopping place for stagecoaches. In spite of railroads and resulting decline in stagecoach travel, inn was still operating in 1884. Private home by 1917. On Natl. Register of Historic Places.

We visited Haycraft Inn on September 13th, 2022 and asked the owner if we could take pictures of his beautiful home. This home is historic, and the current owner was extremely nice. This pacific Monument of History is located in Radcliff, KY.
